WCP

Weardale Community Partnership

The Weardale Community Partnership forms a first contact point for local residents and businesses within the area of Weardale, Co.Durham.

We aim to provide a means of informing you of services and events, but don't think it ends there. We want your involvement too. We hope to provide sections which will allow you to submit your events, comments, photos and art work relevant to the Dale.

Heart of Durham Project

Heart of Durham will benefit a wide range of species and habitats, but the inspiration for the project was the small pearl-bordered fritillary butterfly, which is threatened with extinction in the DWT area. To save the small pearl we need to restore the landscape across a large area, a goal that will take many years to achieve.
